Comprehensive Brachial Plexus Clinic

One child every 2000 normal deliveries suffer from Brachial Plexus Birth Palsy (BPBP). While most of these children improve spontaneously, 10-15% patients are left behind with disabilities requiring timely surgical intervention & appropriate rehabilitation.

Why Comprehensive Care?


Many specialists are required to be involved in care of children affected from BPBP. To facilitate these children, CBPC (Comprehensive Pediatric Brachial Plexus Clinic) was established in 2009. Team of doctors with passion to treat this condition, joined their hands to optimally address issues related to BPBP. Parents get a consolidated comprehensive opinion about their child without the need of visiting different centers. All the consultants assess & advise under one roof, making it very convenient for parents. CBPC gives regular consultation and rehabilitation advise, offers neural reconstruction surgeries and Orthopedic interventions. Skilled Orthotist is instrumental in providing appropriate splints for needy children. Specially trained radiologists help us in MRI imaging of Brachial Plexus & osteoarticular radiology.
